While returning to his country, Timur Lung looted and destroyed Delhi and parts of North India including Hardwar, the Ganga pilgrimage town, and crossed Sindhu River.

2/16/1933Surya Sen Masterda, revolutionary freedom fighter, who attacked the Armoury of Chittagong with 62 men of the Indian Republican Army and was underground on Jalalabad Hills, was arrested.
2/17/1670Shivaji won SinghGarh Fort from Mughals. This victory was on the shoulders of Tanaji who was martyred in this attack. Shivaji proclaimed ""Garh Aalaa Pan Singh Gela"" which means that Fort was won but the Lion was lost.
